I did photograph that tree but decided to explore the park for a little while as the wet snow continued to fall

With the warm temperatures the few days before this the accumulated snow did not amount to much but even so I grabbed my camera and headed out into the city

This afternoon I decided to walk around this area to capture some images of the trees near the Colorado Convention Center

As I walked through Lower Downtown Denver out of the corner of my eye I noticed an interesting reflection

It is not uncommon to see snow in the spring around Denver even going into May

Colorado Capitol through the Columns Size:18"x24" I did photograph that treeOne of my favorite perspectives of the Colorado State Capitol is from Civic Center Park. It is possible to frame the building through the columns within the park which to me blends in the common architecture style of both of the buildings. The look from this location can differ depending on the time of year as well as the weather so it is always a view I check when walking through the park.
