Just over the shore are some pieces of ice which right after I took this image some kids went to try to retrieve but the smaller piece was just out of their reach

and yes cold

however usually by Memorial Day Weekend it is open again connecting Estes Park with Grand Lake

Oxford Hotel and Union Station in the Winter Size:24"x36" Just over the shore areOn a winter evening a few years ago I was walking in the LoDo area capturing some of the holiday lights as some snow fell in the city. As I approached Union Station I noticed the holiday lights on the train station and thought about incorporating the Oxford Hotel into the scene. Using the corner post of the building as an edge I positioned my camera to frame Union Station through the awning of the hotel while also letting the scene reflect in the
