The beautiful faceted garnet is mounted in platinum and flanked on either side by 7 modern round brilliant cut diamonds on each side. The garnet measures approximately 8. 5 millimeters by 11. 5 millimeters. The garnet is 3. 89 carats by formula. The ring is modern. The ring is marked Pt 900 for Platinum on the inside of the band. The band is also stamped D029. This may indicate that the total diamond
