but the fabric is actually a light weight silk georgette

It is truly a beautiful piece and one of my personal favorites

1960s Gold Thread & Blue Kimono Coat designer-jean-patou it skims the body almostThis pretty kimono coat or dress, is not absolutely perfect but still so wonderful I cannot resist listing it! The exterior is on great shape and is a fab mix of a smoky blue, silver and gold thread work all woven to create fabric that has a subtle metallic sheen. Its not a true kimono rather a westernized version. The sleeves are kimono shaped but the drop is far shorter that a traditional kimono and the tie belt is handily attached at the back. I
